CNG refuelling के दौरान सुरक्षा सबसे जरूरी है। Cylinder pressure, temperature, cylinder rating और filling equipment की सही functioning सुरक्षित refuelling में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं।

200 bar कई CNG vehicle cylinders का nominal working pressure है, लेकिन इसे हर वाहन के लिए universal filling limit नहीं मानना चाहिए। हमेशा अपने cylinder की specifications और लागू safety standards का पालन करें।

Essential CNG Refuelling Safety Rules

1. Engine हमेशा OFF रखें

CNG भरवाने से पहले वाहन का इंजन बंद करें और refuelling station के निर्देशों का पालन करें।

2. सभी यात्रियों को बाहर निकलना चाहिए

Refuelling के दौरान सभी occupants को वाहन से बाहर और निर्धारित सुरक्षित स्थान पर रहना चाहिए।

3. Handbrake लगाएँ

वाहन को सुरक्षित रूप से रोकें और parking brake लगाएँ।

4. Smoking और आग से दूर रहें

CNG filling area में smoking, खुली आग और अन्य ignition sources से बचें। Station के safety instructions का पालन करें।

5. Cylinder की test validity चेक करें

अपने CNG cylinder की hydrostatic test validity और inspection requirements समय-समय पर जाँचें। Expired या damaged cylinder को नजरअंदाज न करें।

6. Gas leak होने पर Filling न करवाएँ

अगर गैस की गंध, leakage या किसी अन्य असामान्यता का संदेह हो, तो refuelling रोकें और trained personnel को सूचित करें। स्वयं repair करने की कोशिश न करें।

7. Nozzle trained operator को ही चलाने दें

CNG filling nozzle और संबंधित equipment को केवल authorised या trained station personnel से operate करवाएँ।

8. Abnormal Pressure को Ignore न करें

अगर pressure या filling process असामान्य लगे, तो तुरंत filling रोकने के लिए operator को कहें और supervisor को बुलाएँ। Safety limits को bypass करने या extra gas भरवाने का प्रयास न करें।

Why Pressure Safety Matters

CNG high pressure पर store की जाती है। Cylinder, valves, sensors, shut-off mechanisms और filling equipment का सही working condition में होना महत्वपूर्ण है।

किसी sensor या shut-off mechanism में खराबी का संदेह हो, तो equipment की जाँच qualified professionals से करवाएँ। Pressure gauge की reading अकेले सुरक्षित filling की गारंटी नहीं होती।

याद रखें: Extra gas के लिए safety limit से समझौता करना कभी भी सही विकल्प नहीं है।
